1. You dont HAVE TO come on the very hottest and sunny day to canoe!
   On the contrary… If you come on a cloudy day, you will avoid the heavy sweating, the sunburns and the crowds…
   We recommend that you start off early (10:00 AM or even 9:00 AM) to enjoy the time when nature "wakes up" quietly.
   Partly cloudy but dry weather is the best weather for canoeing.
   
   
2. For those with a busy schedule and not willing to spend a whole day canoeing, then keep in mind the 4:00 or 5:00 PM shuttle, less hot and less crowded.
   
   
3. Dordogne is often foggy inthe morning up to 10:00AM, sometimes 11:00 AM… And it is a good signe that indicates the weather will be nice. Appearances are deceitful, and one should not cancel one's plans of canoeing just because the horizon is foggy at dawn…
   
   
4. If you really want to prepare your trip, the first thing is to call us ahead of time to make a booking. This way, you will avoid bad surprises such as waiting a whole hour for the next shuttle. Come by a good 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled shuttle, that will give us time to brief you a bit and give you your gear, and it will avoid forgetting anything, as much as possible.
   
   
5. Avoid rush days. Mondays and Saturdays or often more quiet.
