From the starting point you will have a trip in the heart of the Black Perigord in a valley recognized by the World Heritage thanks to the richness of its landqcapes, its historical monuments and its prehistoric sites.

What’s new in 2010 ?

1. Road Book

To understand and appreciate the splendid landscapes and sites of the Valley, we lend you a real log.
It is a real booklet full of practical, fun information:

Shortly you will be able to situate all the monuments and know what you see
You will discover a lot of information concerning the flora and the fauna of the Valley
You will be able to organize your descent knowing where you are, where to stop or even where to have a swim or to have a picnic.
A lot of questions will enable you to have fun with your family.  Pay attention you will only have the answers at the arrival.
All the rules of security and how to manoeuvre your canoe are described therein.

It is a real booklet full of practical, fun information:
A Road-Book of 12 laminated pages to row clerverly and in full security.
Thanks to our knowledge of the Valley and with the help of a national interpretator guide, you will discover all the necessary details of a successful descent.
This unique and free service is in French and English

1. Liberty ramble

You can combine walk and canoe individually.
Do you like walking ?
The AVCK site is in the heart of marvellous marked out paths.  Therefore we prepared rambling maps specially adapted to combine in a day:
-from the site an easy ramble of 12 km
- to return a canoe descent to the site
We lend you our laminated maps freely for a walk to the “Pont de Lespinasse in Tusac where your canoe waits for you for your return trip.
A simple idea full of fun.
This Option is available every day from 9 to 10 am, the booking is obligatory.
Freely you will plan your stops and your day.

1. Guided Rambling

A combination of walk and canoe with a guide
You like walking in a friendly atmosphere with a small group and you are curious to learn what a guide loving his country can teach you ?
On foot or by canoe, the Vezere deserves the time you will take to see it.  It is the same principle as the Liberty rambling but you are in a group and guided off the paths, where few dare to go ...
We expect you at 8.45 am, departure at 9 am for a walk of 12 km ( through Gorge d’enfer, le Bout du Monde, le Village troglodyte de la Madeleine, le pont de Lespinasse) and back by canoe to the site around 5 pm.
The price is 20 euros per person, 10 euros under 10 year old.
Optional : - to book a delivered packet-lunch at 10 euros
-the visit of the Madeleine at a special price (3,50 euros instead of 5,50)
